Something a Bit Different…
We are confident in our service to all sorts of customers. Shown here is one of our more unusual jobs, – a 20′ mast with a masthead amplifier, 2 outputs to 2 tv’s. The mast is easily removable and disconnects in about 5 minutes, its aluminium which makes it lightweight but sturdy.
Whatever your aerial needs call us and we will be happy to advise and help.
Trees can be a bit of an issue at times, these are at the front of the house and in line with the sky dish, the existing dish was fitted to the garden shed at the bottom of the back garden but at 6 ft off the ground the trees soon grew to a point where signal was lost, we tried a terrestrial aerial on the chimney but there was no useable freeview signal. the only solution was to get the dish substantially higher, so at our engineering works “Buckby engineering” we built a 6 metre high pilon and painted it green, we laid a concrete base behind the garden shed, removed a fence panel for access and erected the pilon, it’s mostly hidden by trees and the shed and once the dish was fitted it gave an excellent signal. the pilon was built in such a way that with a little adjustment it is capable of going up another 8 ft.
You can just make out the dish in the background, it belongs to the house on the right.
At Buckby Aerials we are certain you will be delighted with the quality and service and we offer
“All work is guaranteed for 12 months parts and labour”
We are also advertised on www.longbuckby.biz a local site for local service businesses.
We offer free advice,
Hi, We are based at 2 Humber close, Daventry, That’s on the Royal oak industrial estate, we share the building with our engineering business, Buckby Engineering where we do everything from welding a garden gate to designing and building cars from scratch.
So we are a genuinely LOCAL business, we’ve also been established for many years and have built up an excellent reputation for good work, service, after sales, honesty and friendliness. Prices are competitive but I will say you can find cheaper, but if you pay peanuts you get monkeys and there are still many fly-by-night types out there.
Why choose LOCAL? well firstly if anything goes wrong, someone can be with you very quickly, if the business is based some distance away often they’ll make you wait until they are in the area, this is not something we do, we always put our guarantee work first, although it is rare we get a problem, we use only top quality materials and the job is done properly.
Many will try to dupe you into believing they are local when they are not! they will advertise daventry addresses and phone numbers, do not believe what you read in the papers and on the internet, ask your self how honest is a person who would deceive you this way? There is one who advertises in the daventry express using a local (01327) number but in reality this is a con, the number diverts to a call centre somewhere up north where they will assign your job to the cheapest cowboy they can find, the business in question has such a rubbish reputation they have to change their trading name every few months.
Buckby Aerials, LOCAL, HONEST, FAIR, PROMPT, and with a great REPUTATION, why go elsewhere?

We have had complaints about telling you the truth about who’s genuinely based in Daventry and who isn’t, truth hurts eh? anyway as far as I know Buckby aerials is the only aerial business truly based in Daventry, why are we called “Buckby Aerials”? well that’s where I’m from and that’s where the business started and once you have a long established business with a great reputation it would be foolish to change the name, I don’t claim to be based in long buckby but I do live there.
